The first iteration of Kilometre of Sculpture took place in summer 2014 in the township of Rakvere, Estonia. It was conceived by curator Niekolaas Johannes Lekkerkerk assisted by Rebeka Põldsam, Marie Vellevoog and Merilin Talumaa.

The works were selected for the way they explored the notion of the theatre through contemporary art in the public space.
